While I was reading Jane Eyre I wondered why Mr Rochester was so open to Jane about his love life. Mr Rochester and Jane Eyre just met and he tells her very deep things that I feel like he hasn't told anyone else.
After reading a little bit more of the story, I realize that Rochester is so open to her because he thinks that she won't tell anyone. That she has no one to tell and she is to reserved to tell any of the servants or that she was taught to keep quiet.
I agree with your statement. I think Mr. Rochester told Jane because I think he trusts her in his own way. I don't know if it is because he thinks she is quite or what, but he does put his trust in her.
ReplyDeleteI think that Mr. Rochester feels something towards Jane that he didn't expect to feel and that is making him trust her more than he would trust anyone else.
