Pondering Mrs. Reed's Past by Brittany

Is the reason Mrs. Reed is so mean to Jane because she had something deeper against Jane's parents?

    I think right now that Mrs. Reed was jealous of something that Jane's family has or had. Maybe she thinks there is something evil that goes along with her family.
