Sierran Nutter: Why do Jane and Mrs.Fairfax get along so well?

Mrs. Fairfax is a very nice lady who is kind of just renting from Mr. Rochester.  She is an independent like Jane and is working in Thornfield for the master.  They are both similar in the way they are so kind to each other and kind to everyone but can be hard if needed.  I think get along so well because they are in the same place and have the same status and are willing to get to know each other more.

  1. Mrs. Fairfax has been kind to Jane ever since she has arrived at Thronfield, leaving Jane no reason to not get along with her. Jane and Mrs. Fairfax both understand the feeling of working under somebody, and since they now have the same boss, they have something in common. Having something in common with another person makes it a lot easier to get along with them and start up a conversation. The two ladies are still getting to know each other and haven't formed a strong relationship yet, but if they keep understanding each other, they will form a quality relation.
